Upcoming Tournaments

The Championship will take place at our San Marcos location.  The 1st and 2nd place finishers from each qualifier earn free entry into the championship.  3rd through 8th place from each qualifier can participate for only a $10 entry fee.  

** NOTE **

Each store has their own qualifier but the championship is only held at the San Marcos location.  So anyone who qualifies and decides to play in the championship, is responsible for all the travel costs involved.

The Championship starts at 11 am.

Each event will last roughly 1-4 hours depending how many people come to play and how long the matches take.  If you unfortunately lose and are knocked out at an point in the event, you are free to stay and watch and/or throw for fun on open lanes (If any are available) for the duration of that event.

The Qualifier and Championship are both played in a double elimination bracket format.  To determine the seeding for each event, each player will make 25 throws and then add up the total number of points they received.  Those totals will then be used to seed you within the bracket.

Once seeded, you will play a 1 vs. 1 match with another player.  Each player will make 5 throws at the same time for points.  The player with the most points after 5 throws, wins that game in the match.  Each match is best of 3 games.  Remember, its double elimination, so if at any point you lose for the first time, you can still win that event. 

Because it is a double elimination format, if the player who hasn't lost that event loses in the final match, another match is played to determine the winner of that qualifier and/or championship.
